Week 25 (Binalbagan)

Maayong hapon! (Good Morning!)

So a lot of things happened this week but I don't have enough time.

First things first, Regine was baptized this week and on Sunday, she and Cion received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Regine's grandmother is a member but her mom is not. We are hoping to be able to teach her mom and help them receive the blessings of the gospel in their family. They live next to a strong member family, and it's super helpful because, for instance, Regine's mom was worried about Regine's baptismal interview, but the member was able to reassure her that it's nothing to worry about. I love the feeling of the Spirit at every baptism. It's super special. And we treated Cristal and Regine to 7/11 after so it was a party :P (see pictures)

On Sunday I was surprised to see Regine wearing a white dress (they're expensive) but I was so glad that her clothes reflected her now clean conscience. Conception attended YW class and she told me that they asked her questions about Christ's Atonement and she wasn't 100% sure but she answered best she could. I told her that's exactly right, if she continues to try and to follow Christ she will not be led astray.

Something funny that happened was I almost fell in the river while getting in the boat to Nabuswang. No further comment. Also I accidentally told the elders that we were bought instead of we bought stuff. They laughed pretty hard at that.

We had an investigator this week confide in us that missionaries from another church had visited her. She said that she had a bad feeling and everything they said confused her. They tried to visit her again but she hid in her house. She told us that she feels really good when we visit and she understands what we teach. I'm so glad the Holy Ghost is helping her to find the truth and to come closer to Christ. Then she gave us live crabs that we cooked later that evening at a members house. YUM!

No I didn't get transferred this week (answer to our prayers) but for sure April 23 because this will be my 4th transfer here and the longest time for a sister in one area is 4 transfers.

Love you all! Thank you so much for your prayers and support!
