Week 19 (Binalbagan)

Maayong hapon!

So today was transfer day. And yesterday we received a call that Sister Soriano would be transferred. She is now going to Sagay, the very northern part of our mission. I am going to miss her so so much but I know that other people need her more now. We got up at 4 this morning to travel to Bacolod. My new companion is Sister Ronquillio. I'm excited to work with her, and sad about Sister Soriano leaving, and a little scared about leading the area. I at least know how to get places so that's good.

I got to see all of my batch INCLUDING Sister Hostetter! I was so so happy to see them and we took a picture but Elder Yancey left before we took it. (It's okay I forgive him). Sister Burkhardt got transferred to the same zone as Sister Hostetter. And Sister Hostetter's trainer also got transferred. Lots of emotions today but we know this is the Lord's work and He's at the helm. As long as we put our trust in Him, I know without a doubt that everything will work out.

One of our investigators opened up to us this week about how they know what we are saying is true but they don't want to change religions. We were able to talk with them and invite them to church and to pray about our message so that they might know the will of the Lord for them.

Something funny that happened was yesterday we and the elders were riding in a tricycle to our special sacrament in Nabuswang, (The Elders are nice enough to come and be the priesthood and bless the sacrament). and the tricycle driver told Elder Bagante, who was riding on the back, to switch sides because he would fall. Elder Bagante said that he was fine and he wouldn't fall. Immediately after, he fell off and rolled. We all died laughing. Don't worry he's fine, the tricycles in Nabuswang don't go very fast cause it's not cement or flat. We also got to walk through Mangrove in Nabuswang so that's all the pictures of the many many trees.

Love you all!
